- AI-nterprise
- An institutional architecture for coordinating humans, agents, models, claims, and rules so that an organization can know, decide, act, and learn without allowing authority, accountability, or memory to dissolve into the workflow. It is not a product category or model class.
- Organizational claim
- An assertion, evaluation, decision, or rule that originates in a context, carries evidence and provenance, may acquire standing, may enable action, and may be reused as precedent.
- Epistemic standing
- The decision that a claim is sufficiently warranted for a stated purpose, context, and level of consequence.
- Persistence
- The decision to retain a claim for a defined period, in a defined version, under correction and disposal rules.
- Visibility
- The decision governing which person or agent may retrieve which representation of a claim and its supporting context.
- Action enablement
- The decision governing who or what may act on a claim, within which boundary and escalation path.
- Knowledge plane
- The control plane for claims, evidence, versions, standing, and correction.
- Authority plane
- The control plane for roles, permissions, thresholds, delegation, exceptions, and obligations.
- Assurance plane
- The control plane that tests whether knowledge and authority controls work and whether the available evidence justifies continued reliance.
- Learning loop
- The loop through which verified correction changes later retrieval, evaluation, policy, memory, or action. A finding that changes no future behavior has not yet produced organizational learning.
Exact formulations
- “Capability is not authority.”
- “Output is not knowledge.”
- “Human presence is not meaningful human power.”
- “Seeing is not believing. Remembering is not accepting. Accepting is not authorizing action.”
